Anti-inflammatory,

Chocolate Pudding

Avocados are healthy fat that contain polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which provide anti-inflammatory benefits. Avocados are also packed with nutrients that help curb inflammation, including phytosterols. Studies show that phytosterols may lead to lower levels of certain inflammation boosting proteins. Plant sterols can block cholesterol from getting into your bloodstream, which may help lower your cholesterol levels. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that cocoa which comes in the form of cacao powder can improve heart health, lower blood pressure and reduce LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. Cacao is high in magnesium and iron and also contains compounds that act as stimulants believed to boost serotonin and endorphin levels in the brain.
